Researchers recognised by selection in prestigious mentoring scheme

Seven College of Arts, Law and Education staff have been selected for the Kathleen Fitzpatrick Laureate Mentoring Scheme.

The selected staff are Dr Hannah Stark (English), Dr Naomi Milthorpe, Dr Jayne Knight (Classics), Dr Louise Richardson-Self (Philosophy and Gender Studies), Ruby Grant (Sociology), Dr Vinh To (Education) and Dr Sarah Randles (Adjunct, Humanities).

This fully funded scheme aims to attract outstanding early career female researchers to an intensive mentoring programme at the University of Melbourne, with the aim of developing research leadership and enhancing career progression in the humanities and social sciences.

The mentoring scheme is scheduled to take place in February 2019, which is part of Professor Joy Damousi's ARC Kathleen Fitzpatrick Laureate Fellowship.
