Accepting

Once you've received your Letter of Offer, coming to study at the University of Tasmania is a relatively simple process.

Accept your offer

The steps to accept your letter are contained in your Letter of Offer.

Get more information, including tips on the steps to take if you applied via StudyLink or via our older application system.

Pay your fees

One step in accepting your offer to study at the University of Tasmania includes paying a fee deposit, health cover and any other fees indicated on your Letter of Offer.

Obtain a Confirmation of Enrolment (eCoE) for Visa Application

Once the fee payment and signed acceptance form have been received, visa processing eligibility will be determined by International Admissions before an electronic Confirmation of Enrolment (eCoE) form will be emailed to you or your UTAS Representative Agent.

The eCoE is required prior to the application for your student visa.

For information on how to apply for a student visa, please visit the Australian Government's Department of Home Affairs.

Deferring

If you have received an Offer to study at UTAS you may be eligible to defer entry into your degree until the next available intake for the program.
