How to defer
If you have received an offer to study at the University of Tasmania you may be eligible to defer entry into your degree until the next available intake for the program.
Deferral requests must be emailed to International Admissions.
A maximum of one deferral per application is allowed for approved courses.
*If it is determined that you are not eligible for the Tasmanian International Scholarship (TIS) on re-assessment of the deferral (due to policy/and or TIS assessment criteria) then the TIS will not be applied to the deferral.
Validity of English test results
English language equivalency approvals and your Academic English test results will be checked to ensure that they are valid for the deferred degree entry period.
