When are PTE Academic results available?
PTE Academic results are generally available online within five business days.
How will I get my results?
All results are issued electronically. PTE Academic scores are accessed via your online account and you will receive an email within 5 business days with instructions on how to check your results online.
You can share your results with as many institutions as you like via your Pearson account.
How do I request a rescore?
If you are not happy with your score, you may request a rescore. Please visit the Pearson site for details.

If you are ill on the test day and unable to sit the test, please contact Pearson as soon as possible. Pearson may offer transfers to another test session free of charge in some circumstances.

Our PTE Academic test centre has 10 seats. You will be sitting in a private booth with other test takers around you. You may be able to hear your neighbours speak as they take their test, but you will be responding to slightly different questions.
How long is the test?
PTE Academic is a 2 hour 15 minute computer based exam which assesses your listening, reading, speaking and writing.
What can I bring into the test room?
- Passport

- Digital devices (mobile phones, iPods, digital watches, etc.)
- Analogue watch
- Wallets and keys
- Jackets, hoodies, scarves, gloves
- Baseball caps, beanies, hats or hoods
- Cases for pens or glasses
- Pieces of paper
- Highlighters, rulers and correction fluid
- Food or drink of any kind
- Medications (unless previously requested)
Valuables
The English Language Centre will provide a locker to store your belongings for the duration of your test; however, the ELC is not responsible for any loss or damages. We highly recommend leaving valuables at home.
