New sustainability web portal

The University of Tasmania has achieved a great deal with respect to sustainability over the past few years.

In recognition of our continuing commitment, the University's Sustainability Committee has launched a new sustainability web portal.

This portal serves to bring together information on the University community's sustainability commitments, updates and activities across a range of areas working in sustainability, including highlighting the latest news and sustainability bulletins as well as upcoming events.

Links are provided to the Divisions of the Chief Operating Officer for operational sustainability, including the award-winning Academic-Operations Sustainability Integration Program (AOSIP), the Deputy Vice-Chancellor (Students and Education) for sustainability efforts in teaching and learning especially through the Education for Sustainability Community of Practice, and the Deputy Vice-Chancellor (Research) for coverage of our sustainability research and related activities.

The portal is accessible at http://www.utas.edu.au/sustainability

Please direct any comments or suggestions to Corey Peterson, Sustainability Manager, at corey.peterson@utas.edu.au or 03 6226 6203.
