2024 Vanessa Goodwin Scholarship applications open

Applications are now open for the Dr Vanessa Goodwin Law Reform Scholarship,

The scholarship was established in honour of Dr Goodwin, who was a criminologist, lawyer and former Attorney-General of Tasmania.

The successful applicant will be awarded $5000 and undertake a research internship with the Tasmania Law Reform Institute.

The scholarship will be available to a student entering Year 4 or 5 of a Bachelor of Laws or combined Law degree, or final year of a Criminology major. Criteria include a demonstrated commitment to law reform and social justice.

Applications close on 31 December 2023.
