The State Government has released the Bushfire Mitigation Measures Bill 2020 for public consultation. The Bill has potentially wide-ranging implications on the use and management of both public and private land.

The School of Law and the Fire Centre at the University of Tasmania are hosting a special community event to outline important features of the Bill and discuss their potential implications for the owners and occupiers of bushfire-prone land.

With submissions due on October 23, this interactive seminar is an opportunity to learn more about the Bill and how it affects you.
