The University of Tasmania Library offers free library membership to past graduated students, members of the public, Royal Hobart Hospital staff, students and staff of other universities and Tasmanian school students. Members are welcome to visit our libraries during opening hours.

University of Tasmania Alumni members not based in Tasmania can only access limited electronic resources listed here. You will need to register with the Alumni Office to activate your UTAS email, username and password if you have not already done so. Tasmanian Alumni residents can also access loan services and should complete the registration form if you wish to borrow from our print collections.

Student / Staff - University Libraries of Australia & NZ borrowing scheme (ULANZ)

  • Proof of enrolment or membership to another University
  • Evidence of current address

School Student
