The Marketing Office delivers strategic and operational marketing programs to support the goals and vision of the University on a local, national and international level. Our core responsibilities include:

  • Brand management
  • Governance and oversight of the University’s visual standards style guide
  • Integrated corporate and tactical marketing campaigns, including advertising
  • Oversight of all marketing collateral, including template management
  • Management of University-wide sponsorship activities
  • Social media marketing strategy and implementation
  • Managing relationship with the University’s contracted advertising agencies
  • Promotional merchandise (for use centrally and through University of Tasmania programs, faculties, institutes and schools).

The Marketing Office provides the following services at a whole-of-University level:

  • Provision of advice and support for marketing strategies, plans and activities
  • Assistance and facilitation for development of marketing collateral
  • Brand compliance approval for marketing collateral (note that approval of marketing collateral for core University business must also be sought through the Compliance Officer to ensure regulatory requirements are met)
