Discussion Board: Grid View

This guide is designed to help you to change your default settings within Discussions, to allow you to use grid view in your discussion topics within MyLO.

The default within MyLO is normally set to Reading View.

The Discussion List page

• Access the Discussion List page by pulling down the Communication menu and selecting Discussions.
  
  • This will give you a list of all your Forums and associated topics within these Forums.
• To view a Forum click on it's title.

Forum Grid view

• From the Discussion List page (above) click on the drop-down icon beside a topic's name and select View Topic in Grid View.

To change the default view to Grid for a unit

• From the Discussion List page (above) click on Settings.
• Change the Default View to Grid.
• Click Save

To change the default view to Grid for all your units

• Go to your name in the top right hand navigation bar and from the drop down arrow choose Account Settings.
• Select the Discussions tab
• Change the Default View to Grid.
• Click Save and Close.
