Guest Link Use within your units:
The Guest link provided within Collaborate is only to be used for users external to MyLO - such as a Guest Lecturer from DHHS or the Department of Education. It is not to be used as a link for your students to use.
If you add this Guest link within an announcement, or via an email to students, then there is no way of identifying the student at all once they enter the Collaborate Room - as they do not come in via our integration.
All students should be accessing their rooms via MyLO, and thereby authenticating correctly.
The guest link is off by default for any new sessions created post 14/5/2020. if you do need to use a guest link select Edit settings and tick the Guest Access checkbox to generate a guest link
Naming Conventions of your Collaborate Rooms:
When creating your rooms please include your Unit code within the Title. This is done in the auto created room each unit has and is useful for reporting purposes.
Note: You can edit the names of your collaborate rooms by pressing on Edit settings in the right hand menu.
