Human Resource Management
The most valuable asset in business is its people and as a human resource manager you ensure this asset is well cared for. You'll learn about organisational behaviour including how individual differences, perceptions, attitudes, and motivation impact work performance.
Management
Studying management provides a foundation for the problem-solving, critical thinking and data-based decision-making needed for successful modern businesses. Learn to meet the challenges of an ever-changing and complex world. This major is recognised by the Australian Institute of Management.
Accounting
Accounting degrees are not just for people who want to become accountants. People with accounting skills are in high demand across the widest range of sectors in the ever changing business and corporate world. This major is recognised by several professional bodies including CPA Australia.
Business Economics
Economists use data to understand the big questions that face people, organisations, and the world. We have been teaching Economics for over 100 years and have produced some of Australia’s leading experts in the field.
Hospitality Management
You’ll gain industry-specific skills in Hospitality Management, so you are ready to enter the contemporary business workforce in a managerial position within private, public or community sector enterprises. This major is designed for holders of a TasTAFE Advanced Diploma of Hospitality Management or equivalent qualification with the opportunity to gain a professional university degree in hospitality management.
Tourism Management
Develop your depth of understanding best practice in tourism management, recognise the value of research, critical thinking and effective communication to set you up for working in the tourism sector. This major is designed for holders of a TasTAFE Advanced Diploma of Tourism Management or equivalent qualification with the opportunity to gain a professional university degree in tourism management.
