7 Conferral

Authority to approve the admission of a graduand to a degree or award, including conferral of honours or distinctions.

Authority to confer degree or award on a graduand in absentia.

Authority to rescind University of Tasmania degrees, diplomas and certificates.

Authority to confer and rescind Honorary Degrees, Emeritus Professorships and University Fellowships.

Authority to approve the conferral of an aegrotat or posthumous award in circumstances involving serious illness or the death of a student.
