I have experience in academic- and industry-oriented research activities, and have participated in detailed research involving gold, copper and nickel mineralisation, mineral prospectivity and localisation of mineralisation, in conjunction with analysis of the distribution of metallogenic, geochronologic and geologic provinces, and assessment of exploration maturity, accessibility, and successful discovery strategies.

Research Themes

I am interested in the formation of igneous and metamorphic rocks, the evaluation of geological terrains, their histories and evolution, and understanding the links between regional geology and the localisation of ore deposits.

My current project is on the granites around Olympic Dam and the role of granites in iron oxide-copper-gold mineralising processes (supervisors: Vadim Kamenetsky, Sebastien Meffre, Kathy Ehrig)
