Born and raised in North- African Spanish territories, Ana is trained as a performance designer - Central Saint Martins London (UK), as a classical musician, and as an architect – E.T.S.A.Madrid (Spain).

Her research interest lies in CHOREOARCHITECTURE, her newly developed mode of critical practice that explores the intra-activity within performance studies and architectural practice. Ana has presented papers and performances internationally, (London Tate Britain, Beirut Design Week, Embassy of Spain in Tokyo, AIA New York, Dark Mofo Hobart, Performance Studies international) and often chairs debates aimed to transcend the conventional and speculative boundaries of Architecture.

Having taught for over fifteen years, Ana has directed Master thesis in Theatre and Architecture Design (Spain, UK, Netherlands, Australia) and has been a visiting design critic at many Universities such as Cambridge (UK), Columbia (NYC), Kogakuin (Tokyo), Architectural Association (AUB) and Monash. Ana has a soft spot for origami, roller skating and performativity.
