Leon has held a number of senior appointments in the Commonwealth, Tasmanian and Queensland public service.

Biography

Leon is a PhD candidate in the Media School. His research investigates the journalism of Gilbert Robertson, editor of The Colonist newspaper (1832-1834) and the True Colonist (1834-1844), and the political and social issues he championed. The RTP supported study is supervised by Dr Claire Konkes, Dr Rebecca Taylor and Dr Anthony Page.
