Margaret Cassidy is a PhD student in the Media program. Her research focuses on photojournalism and the visual representation of migrant groups in the Australian media. The study is supervised by Dr Donald Reid and Professor Roberta Julian.
Biography
Margaret Cassidy has extensive editorial, policy and strategy experience from her senior management roles across the Radio, New Media and Technology areas of the Australian Broadcasting Corporation. She was Head of the ABC’s national radio networks – triple j, ABC Classic FM, Radio National and ABC NewsRadio and also Deputy Director of the Technology Division.
