Currently, Adam is an Associate Lecturer in French, Global Cultures & Languages, in the School of Humanities at the University of Tasmania.

Biography

Adam holds a PhD in French and Comparative Literature from the Universities of Paris IV and Melbourne.

Previously, he worked as a reader in English language and literature at the LyceesHenri IV and Louis-le-Grand in Paris. He received a BA and an MA from the University of Paris IV - Sorbonne, before undertaking doctoral studies there. His recent publications include a book, Isabelle de Montolieu Reads Jane Austens Fictional Minds (Peter Lang), and articles on the use of free indirect discourse in Montolieus La Famille Elliot in journals such as the New Zealand Journal of French Studies, and Persuasions: The Jane Austen Journal.
