Kerrie Walkem is a lecturer in the School of Health Sciences. She coordinates and teaches the postgraduate child and family health nursing stream, as well as a number of other units across the postgraduate and undergraduate areas.

Biography

Before joining the university Kerrie had a long career as a registered nurse, midwife and health visitor both in Australia and overseas (the UK and the Middle East). She has held a variety of positions in practice and in management. She also developed the program for registered nurses to become authorised nurse immunisers in Tasmania. Kerrie received Teaching Merit Certificates in 2013 and 2014.
