Volunteering in Tasmania: Understanding motivation, sustaining participation (2016)$38,417
Description
Research on the motivation to engage and continue volunteering in Tasmania, and the physical and mental benefits of volunteering. It was developed in partnership with Volunteering Tasmania, City of Hobart, Hydro Tasmania and the RACT. The work is expected to give us information about the differences across non-government, public sector and corporate volunteering (if any) and the differences between categories of volunteer participation (if any) eg between volunteer motivation in sporting, health-related and environmental groups (amongst others).
