Expertise

Dr Jacqueline Fox is an historian whose research interests focus on the social, cultural and legal dimensions of British settler colonialism in the early nineteenth century. Her PhD (UTas, 2012) proposed a revisionist biography of Sir John Pedder, which has recently been published as Bound by Every Tie of Duty: John Lewes Pedder, Chief Justice of Van Diemen's Land (Melbourne: Australian Scholarly Publishing, 2018). Jac is currently attached to the School of Humanities as a University Associate.
