Suzana joined the Centre for Law and Genetics (CLG) within the UTAS Faculty of Law in late March 2016 to undertake her PhD under the supervision of Dr Jane Nielsen and Professor Dianne Nicol. Before joining the CLG, she completed her LLB (Hons), and Masters by Research degree LLM (Hons) in Business Law at University Ss. Cyril and Methodius in Skopje, Macedonia. She also has a LLM degree from the Faculty of Law at the Université de Nice Sophia-Antipolis, France, in the area of International and European Public and Private Law, completed in 2013. Suzana has also been involved in the legal profession, working as a legal associate and consultant in Macedonia each for several years.

The investigation primarily concerns the interface between intellectual property and competition law in the specific area of ‘know-how’.
