Biography

Damien has been involved in the education sector since 2009.

He started teaching at a Certificate 3 level for School of Audio Engineering, where he was coordinator for the Electronic Music Production course for 3 years. He was then part of the national team that saw the EMP course upgraded to a diploma level where he continued teaching until 2015. During his time at SAE he was a regular guest lecturer for the degree subjects and in 2013 was assigned the degree level unit, Introduction to Digital Audio, which he taught for 3 years.

In 2015 he started teaching at Sydney TAFE, where he was part of the team that took the Diploma of Electronic Music Production from a small afterthought to one of the flagship courses offered by TAFE.

During this time, he also started working for University of New England teaching the Electronic Music component of their Music Degree, which helped him develop his online teaching skills.
