Teaching Responsibilities

Dominic is an Associate Lecturer in the Pre-degree Programs at the University of Tasmania. In 2009 he completed his PhD in the School of Humanities at the University of Tasmania, and from 2009 until 2012 he worked as a lecturer in the English program, where he coordinated a variety of units, including Popular Fiction, 19th Century British Literature, and several film studies units; he also coordinated the first-year English program from mid-2010 until 2012. He currently teaches academic writing, research, and study skills in the Bachelor of General Studies course and the University Preparation Program (UPP). He writes regularly on a variety of subjects related to film, television, and popular culture.
