Protocol for a multicentre survey of patients with treatment resistant hypertension (2017)$12,940
The specific aims of the project are to:1) Measure the number of adult patients with treatment resistant hypertension managed at about 100 specialists clinical centres in 15 countries2) Characterize about 1500 adult patients at these centres who currently have EITHER uncontrolled, blood pressure while using three or more different antihypertensive drug classes including a diuretic, OR controlled blood pressure while using four or more different anti-hypertensive drug classes including a diuretic.3) Estimate the prevalence and Incidence of true resistant treatment resistant hypertension In adults in the populations served by these centres.
