Alex Kitsos is a Health Analyst at Health Services Innovation Tasmania. Alex utilises his 10 years of experience as a Physiotherapist in the Public Health Sector to better understand health data and its clinical applications, providing a more effective service to clinicians, researchers and students.

Biography

Alex worked as a Physiotherapist for NSW Health within the hospital system for 10 years, prior to making a transition into research and the analysis of health data.

Alex is currently working for Wicking Dementia Research and Education Centre, under the School of Medicine. He uses his background health knowledge to determine what is statistically significant as well as clinically significant.

Alex is currently working with Primary Health Tasmania to determine ongoing trends and needs within primary health in Tasmania as part of the Primary Health Information Network. He is also helping to evaluate the Rural Primary Health Program provided by Corumbene Care, which is a primary health initiative targeting adults with chronic diseases living in the community .
