Project Management Methodology
4 Closure & Review
The project closure & review phase is where the organisation implements the change into business as usual and determines that the intended benefits of the project have been met. Identified improvements to the PMM process, benefits realisation or project outputs are captured in a lesson learned log for future projects. Improvements to the system are embedded.
The post implementation review document is intended to capture both the change in the organisation and how this has been embedded in to the organisation and a review of the effectiveness of the benefits realisation.
