Project Management Methodology

Mentoring & Support

The University of Tasmania is committed to providing mentoring and support to all project managers. This could be to provide direction in the next phase of a project, work through particular templates, engaging stakeholders or any other challenge within a project.

Mentoring, advice and support will be provided through a network of project management advisors at the University. This group will meet on a regular basis to:

  • Consider matters raised in relation to the management of current projects
  • Consolidate lessons learned from projects (including analysis of Post Implementation Reviews)
  • Input into the enhancement of the project management methodology.

This group will play an important role in maintaining and enhancing the processes and supporting templates. An important input into this will be the review and maintenance of a database of learnings from past University projects through the analysis of Post Implementation Reviews.
