The University of Tasmania has a zero-tolerance approach to sexual assault and sexual harassment. In recent years the University has committed to improving how we prevent and respond to sexual assault and sexual harassment.  As part of this commitment, the Sexual Assault Support Service [SASS] will facilitate training sessions to assist staff in being a potential first responder.

It is vitally important our staff are clear about the steps they need to take in the event of disclosure of sexual misconduct, so they can respond appropriately, empathetically and confidently.  As a staff member working closely with candidates/students, you are strongly encouraged to attend.

Please use the following link to register for upcoming face-to-face training session.

Cradle Coast Campus, Tuesday 9 April 9am – 12pm

The MyLO module  https://mylo-courses.utas.edu.au/course/33/responding-to-disclosures-of-sexual-violence is an online pre requisite for this face to face offering. You can self-select and enrol through the MyLO catalogue.
