Receive an International Relocation Bursary for Health and Medicine (Undergraduate) when you enrol in one of the following courses for entry in Semester 1 or 2, 2020.
Semester 1, 2020 intake:
- Bachelor of Exercise and Sport Science (53J)
- Bachelor of Laboratory Medicine (53G)
- Bachelor of Nutrition Science (53H)
Semester 1 or 2, 2020 intake:
- Bachelor of Medical Research (53E)
- Bachelor of Pharmacy with Applied Honours (54A)
- Bachelor of Psychological Science (53F)
The bursary is valued at $3,000 for one year of full-time study at the University of Tasmania.
Students must be commencing Year 1 of one of the above listed undergraduate degree courses and must be enrolled in a full-time load, equating to a minimum of four 12.5% units per semester post-census date to receive payment of the bursary.
Students who have been awarded the Tasmanian International Scholarship will not be eligible to qualify for the relocation bursary. Applicants applying for recognised prior learning (RPL) will not qualify for the relocation bursary.

To retain this bursary recipients are required to achieve a minimum Pass (4.0/7.0) result in all units studied.
One (1) year
There is no requirement to complete a separate application for this bursary. Scholarships Office to assess applicants for eligibility.
The bursary will be paid in two equal amounts ($1,500) directly into the student's nominated Australian bank account the first week after census date in their first and second semesters respectively.
Semester 1, 2020 - payment is scheduled for 3 April 2020
Semester 2, 2020 - payment is scheduled for 14 August 2020
Semester 1, 2021 - payment is scheduled for 2 April 2021
