The National Community Food Hubs Speaking Tour comes to Tasmania on the 10th August. Attendees will hear from leading International Food Hub and Social Entrepreneur Anthony Flaccavento, President of Sequestering Carbon, Accelerating Local Economies (SCALE).

A Public Forum showcasing local food initiatives from North West Tasmania and the USA exploring innovative ways to create greater value for local producers, entrepreneurs, revitalising rural and regional communities and enhancing affordable access to healthy food for all.

About Anthony Flaccavento
Anthony Flaccavento is an organic farmer from Virginia, USA and author of a new book, 'Building a Healthy Economy from the Bottom Up: Harnessing Real World Experience for Transformative Change' released in June 2016. He has been working on community, environmental and economic development in the region for more than 30 years. He is dedicated to catalysing and supporting ecologically healthy regional economies and food systems.
