Lisa Denny, research fellow

The Institute for the Study of Social Change has launched a new research report series called Institute Insights, summarising research into social and economic change in Tasmania and beyond, to promote community discussion and policy debate. The initial focus is on the changing nature of work in Tasmania, starting with Insight One, which provides a snapshot of the Tasmanian workforce; how men and women engage with work, how this differs by age, and what the implications are for policy development in ensuring that all Tasmanians have the opportunity to participate in work.

In this seminar demographer Lisa Denny will discuss the findings of Insight One as well as Insight 2, which extends the discussion to an analysis of the workforce by industry sector and how this has changed in the ten years since 2006.

The seminar will be followed by an informal networking session for colleagues.

This free seminar is presented by the Institute for the Study of Social Change and the School of Social Sciences. All welcome.
