University of Tasmania scholarship holder Meriem Daoui wins Point to Pinnacle.
Point to Pinnacle is no easy feat and to win it two years in a row nearly impossible….. except for Meriem Daoui.
With the title of one of the worlds toughest half marathons, the Point to Pinnacle is a 21.4km run or recreational walk climbing 1270m to the iconic Mount Wellington peak.
Among 3,700 walkers and runners in the event, Meriem pushed through to win in an astounding 1 hour and 38 minutes time.
The University of Tasmania would like to congratulate Meriem on her success and we look forward to seeing what she can achieve in 2019.
