UTAS students are having a red hot crack at the Div 1 Uni Nationals on the Gold Coast in table tennis, swimming, athletics, cycling, rowing and sailing.
This year has been our biggest medal tally ever at the Div 1 National, with the team of 36 winning an array of gold, silver and bronze in most sports.
It was a double victory in athletics, with Matt Hosie winning gold in pole vault as well as bronze in long jump, and Emily Canham claiming gold in the hammer throw.
In rowing, Lili and Ally Wrigley will head straight into the Regatta final, and Wilson Mure made it through to the rowing final for singles.
In swimming, Jack Evans has claimed third place in the 200m breaststroke final.
UTAS are one of the top 10 universities to come together in the Nationals Div 1 flagship event, to compete against the best of the best to gain or retain their championship glory across the 33 competitions offered.
