Vice-Chancellor's Leadership Program

The Vice-Chancellor’s Leadership Program has been enhanced with new leadership experiences and a simpler structure for you choose from a range of leadership and professional development options to explore your skills and your leadership potential while, at the same time getting recognition for different experiences you have achieved during your time at the University of Tasmania.

The program has 3 components: Learning, Experiential and Award. The first two can be completed concurrently or independently, and upon the successful completion of these, you will be eligible to apply for one of the three awards included in the award component.

If you want to be part of the VCLP, please start by submitting your expression of interest EOI and our team will contact you with instructions.

(10hrs of volunteering required within the last 12 months)

COMING IN 2021! Complete the Vice-Chancellor's Future Leaders Experience

(By application only)

Get 50 hours of Professional experience and get 50 hours of Community experience

Record and share your experience on CareerConnect
+
Nominate a referee

Get a reference letter

Invitation to apply for a citation:

  • Attend 2 compulsory learning workshops
  • Submit a reflection

Get a citation on your Academic Transcript for one of the following theme areas:

  1. Industry and Innovation
  2. Community and Place
  3. Global Leadership
  4. Sustainable Development

Once you have completed:

Learning Component
+
Experiential Component

Attend a Master Class

Submit an application with:

Your LinkedIn Profile

A letter of recommendation

Then attend an interview to be considered for one of the following awards:

  1. Vice-Chancellor's Leadership Award
  2. Vice-Chancellor's Professional Achievement Award
  3. Vice-Chancellor's Community Service Award
