Peer Assisted Study Sessions

Peer Assisted Study Sessions (PASS) offer voluntary free unit specific group study sessions led by students who have previously succeeded in the unit.

PASS face to face sessions have currently been suspended.  Online offerings are still taking place.  PASS leaders have set up Discussion Boards in the MyLO units for students to use.

PASS commences in week 2 of semester 1 and 2 and continues every week through to week 13.

If you have any enquiries about PASS please contact the team at PASS.StudentCentre@utas.edu.au

Please look after yourselves, follow all health instructions, and we look forward to working with you in the online space.

Attending PASS is an opportunity to:

  • Regularly revise unit content
  • Develop your study skills and habits
  • Build social connections

In sessions, students work together to revise content and strengthen study skills in a relaxed and friendly environment.

PASS sessions are led by PASS leaders, current students who have been trained to make sure you gain the most out of the session using collaborative activities and group discussions.
