Student Wellbeing

At the University of Tasmania, we recognise the clear link between wellbeing and student success.

Mental health is "a state of well-being in which every individual realises his or her own potential, can cope with the normal stresses of life, can work productively and fruitfully, and is able to make a contribution to her or his community (The World Health Organisation)". 

In order to support and promote student wellbeing and mental health, UTAS has developed a suite of video resources featuring UTAS students, focussing on key wellbeing-related issues that impact student mental health and wellbeing.  All of these resources focus on issues and approaches that are research-based and the following videos have been developed by, or in consultation with, UTAS’ Student Wellbeing Team:
