How much does it cost?

Domestic students commencing a Job-ready Certificate course in winter or Semester 2 2021 may be eligible to receive a 100% HECS fee waiver*.

This means that you will not have to pay any HECS fees for your course.

To receive the waiver, you must complete a minimum of two units (out of a total of four) by 31 December 2021, and have completed all four units by 30 June 2022. Please see the individual course pages for unit availability in 2021 and 2022.

*Exceptions include:

  • Graduate Certificate in Health Protection (H5P), which attracts a partial fee waiver.
  • Graduate Certificate in Nursing (Specialisation) - Gerontological Nursing Stream (H5F) and Graduate Certificate in Maritime and Logistics Management (J5N), which are not applicable for a fee waiver.

Domestic and international fees are listed on the individual course pages above. If you’re a domestic student, you may be eligible to defer your student fees under the HECS-HELP loan scheme.

If you are eligible to receive a HECS fee waiver for your Job-ready Certificate course, your Student Services & Amenities Fee (SSAF) may also be waived for that course. Student Services and Amenities Fee (SSAF) are used to provide services, experiences, and resources for all of our students. The SSAF for 2021 is $46.20 per 12.5 credit point unit of study.

If you are a domestic student and your SSAF is not waived, you may be able to defer these fees under a SA-HELP loan. If you are an international student, SSAF is included in your tuition fees, which means you do not need to pay it separately.
