How long does it take?

Certificates are made of 50 credit points, which is typically four 12.5 credit point units. They can be completed full-time in one semester or part-time over two semesters.

To find out if a course is available part-time, full-time or both, check the specific course information.

Currently, due to Commonwealth Government regulations, an Undergraduate Certificate qualification may not be issued after 31 December 2021. This means a student enrolled in an Undergraduate Certificate course of study must complete their course in 2021 for a university to issue an Undergraduate Certificate qualification to that student.

The Commonwealth Department of Education, Skills and Employment  is currently working with state and territory governments to review the Undergraduate Certificate qualification with the intention of extending its use beyond 2021.

If the qualification is not extended beyond 2021 and you have not completed your study by the end of 2021, we will transfer you into an alternative course.

Please refer to the specific course information to find information on unit availability.
