About this short course
AI is an emerging branch of Information and Communication Technology which has created an array of disruptions in multiple industries.
Here at the University of Tasmania we are working with primary producers through our industry 4.0 program to better understand the benefits of AI in agriculture. Other common areas for IA development include, health, technology and manufacturing.
Through this course you will gain a practical and realistic view of AI applications in business and get an idea of how to start a pilot project of your own.
With AI you too can leverage the computational power of machines to deal with complex tasks which normally require human intelligence.
Who should do this course?
The course is designed for anyone who wants to enhance their knowledge of AI and is perfect for people who want to:
- Explain the fundamental concepts of Artificial Intelligence, its capabilities and limitations
- Apply suitable AI techniques to solve practical problems
As a general guide, the course will take about 6 hours to complete over 2 days.
Each module is accompanied with short quizzes to assess your knowledge and upon course completion you will receive a Certificate of Attendance.
