The Volunteer Trekkers
Certain routes were too arduous for the entire expedition team.
Volunteer Trekkers completed these legs on our behalf. Trekkers Carol Williams, Gloria Andrews (Elder), Kim Matthews (first aid officer), Ian Matthews and Simon Werne (cameraman) completed the strenuous walk from Cosy Corner base Camp, over Seaton's Tier to the saddle of Leuthcracener where they were joined by the rest of the research party for the final ascent. Retracing this leg relied heavily on their bush skills as well as their support and effort.
