The Centre for Food Safety and Innovation (CFSI) provides industry and government with access to cutting-edge research and knowledge of emerging issues related to food safety, shelf life, and innovations in food quality and processing.

The Tasmanian Institute of Agriculture (TIA) is internationally renowned for its innovative research into food safety and microbiology.

The Centre for Food Innovation (CFI) is a ground-breaking science collaboration between the University of Tasmania, the Commonwealth Government’s Defence Science and Technology Organisation (DSTO), and the Commonwealth Scientific and Industrial Research Organisation (CSIRO). It was launched in 2013.
