About the program

The Feed your mind, feed the world (FYM) camp is a three-day experience for year 11 and 12 students who are interested in finding out more about agricultural science and career pathways stemming from an agricultural science degree. The camp is hosted by the Tasmanian Institute of Agriculture (TIA), who are the agricultural research arm of the University of Tasmania, and are responsible for teaching the Bachelors degree. TIA staff members will be supervising students for the duration of the camp.

The FYM camp is held in NW Tasmania, giving students the opportunity to observe and interact with several diverse agricultural industries, and to learn about the advantages of studying agricultural science in Tasmania, including a visit to our research farms. Specific degree information and information on studying at the University of Tasmania will also be provided.
