Congratulations to the four finalists in the 2021 ANZ Dairy Business Awards on being recognised for their excellence in dairy business management.
The four finalists were selected out of a group of over 40 Tasmanian dairy farm businesses who provided benchmarking data for the 2019-20 financial year.
Each finalist has a strong focus on home-grown feed, healthy, well-fed cows, and being a workplace where people enjoy coming to work.
Annandale Dairy
Located in Tunbridge, and owned by the Gardner family and managed by Joel Hazelwood.
Dalmore Dairy
Dalmore Dairy is owned by the BWB investment group and managed by Luke Davey-Baldock in Dairy Plains.
Rosemount Agriculture
Rosemount Agriculture is an equity partnership between Rob and Jo Bradley and James and Sophie Greenacre and managed by James Greenacre in Cressy.
Woodrising Dairies
Located in Cressy, and owned by Woodrising Dairies and managed by Troy Ainslie in conjunction with Compass Agri.
The winner of the 2021 ANZ Dairy Business of the Year Award, will be announced at the Tasmanian Dairy Awards dinner on the 18 March, 2021, following the Tasmanian Dairy Conference at the Paranaple Centre in Devonport.
A field day will be held on the winner’s property on 31 March, 2021.
The Dairy Business of the Year Award is conducted by the Tasmanian Institute of Agriculture (TIA) as part of the DairyHIGH-2 project which is funded by Dairy Australia and TIA.
TIA is a joint venture of the University of Tasmania and the Tasmanian Government.
