*To responsibly manage the industry’s investment, recipients of a scholarship are required to:
• successfully complete each unit for which they have enrolled,
• successfully complete the course within two years,
•prove they are employed by a levy paying member of the sponsoring horticulture industry
•deliver a presentation about the scholarship and outcomes at either an industry relevant conference or in the industry magazine as agreed with the Hort Innovation representative.
If recipients do not complete a unit they are enrolled in, and there are no extenuating circumstances, repayment will be required by Hort Innovation. This provision exists, as once enrolled beyond a census date, the Scholarship fund must pay the HECS fees for that module, regardless of the outcome.
