Institute’s Affiliated Researcher Receives 2020 Award from the American Society of Criminology

TILES staff and students extend their congratulations to Distinguished Professor Rob White on receiving the Thorston Sellin & Sheldon and Eleanor Glueck 2020 Award from the American Society of Criminology in recognition of his scholarship in international crime and justice.

The Thorston Sellin & Sheldon and Eleanor Glueck Award was established in 1974 and is given to call attention to criminological scholarship that considers problems of crime and justice as they are manifested outside the United States; internationally or comparatively.

Distinguished Professor White has been associated with TILES for many years and has collaborated on an array of projects with TILES researchers. He is a highly respected colleague whose research is highly recognised locally and globally, particularly in green criminology where he has been a pioneer in the field internationally and has written several books on the topic.
