LEPH team CSIRO prizeThe Institute congratulates the LEPH team on winning the final CSIRO program prize earlier this month. The LEPH team’s presentation at the University of Tasmania officially concluded an intensive ON PRIME CSIRO training program designed to prepare various research teams with skills in attracting resources for research to make an impact, and prepare them for a final presentation at the end of the training.

The LEPH project team is delighted to win the prize that will allow them to continue and consolidate their research in 2020.

Dr Isabelle Bartkowiak-Théron, LEPH project coordinator said “I am personally very grateful to work with an amazing group of researchers, but also extremely grateful to our stakeholders, who have supported us since we launched our state-wide consultation in 2016. I would like to particularly acknowledge Tasmania Police, The Salvation Army, the Drug Education Network, the ATDC, SETAC, and all our contacts at the Glenorchy City Council for their continuing support. Thank you, as well, to Prof Koutoulis, our DVC Research (University of Tasmania), for facilitating the ON Prime program”.
