TASA Award Recognising Service to the Discipline

The Institute congratulates Professor Roberta Julian whose outstanding individual contributions to sociology were acknowledged at The Australian Sociological Association (TASA) awards event this month.

This award comes after a big year of achievements for Professor Julian, who was also awarded the University of Tasmania Research Medal and the College of Arts, Law and Education (CALE) Research Award for her outstanding contributions to research of the highest quality, including innovation and impact, mentoring and early-career researcher development, and community engagement.
