The Institute Congratulates the Newest Group of Tasmania Police Constables

TILES academics (pictured) participated in the graduation of the newest group of Tasmania Police Constables at the Police Academy on 26 September 2019.

After rigorous 28-week training and 3 weeks of practical experiences, the group of 18 Constables are ready to put their training into action and provide quality policing services to the Tasmanian community.

TILES is engaged with the School of Social Sciences in a successful collaboration between the University and the Department of Police, Fire and Emergency Management (DPFEM) in teaching, especially in the development of the Bachelor of Social Science (Police Studies) degree and programs.
