Ensemble Skills 4 FCE235
Students are expected to maintain a regular schedule of rehearsals throughout the semester.
Introduction
This unit consolidates the development of ensemble skills in performance and/or music production. In this unit students refine the processes of preparation and performance and/or production through participation in one of a varied set of ensembles. Students are expected to actively engage in the rehearsal process, identifying and applying strategies chosen throughout semester to improve collaborative performance/production. A focus in this unit is developing work ready skills for ensemble settings.

Learning Outcomes
- Through performance and rehearsal, consolidate ideas and skills to enhance participation in a cohesive ensemble.
- Contribute information pertaining to repertoire, performance practice and/or production in a collaborative setting.
- Identify knowledge and apply skills required within a group setting to solve genre appropriate problems associated with ensemble work
- Extend, consolidate and apply performance/production skills to final ensemble outcome.
